About Stables
Once home to the farm’s Shire horses, these converted old stables are simply stunning. The huge front door opens straight into the main living area, which is full height from the flagstone floor to the raftered ceiling. It’s super-toasty too – great when you get back from a day on the beach.
Downstairs, there’s a kitchen with a circular pine dining table, and a sitting area where colour-washed walls, a squashy sofa and antique pine furniture add to the traditional feel. Leading off the central space is a double bedroom with en-suite shower room and a twin bedroom plus family bathroom.
Two wooden staircases lead to mezzanine floors either side, one to a cosy sitting room under the eaves, the other to an open-plan twin bedroom with the beds tucked under the rafters.
Open the back door, and you step out to a lovely lawned garden with table and chairs, perfect for al fresco suppers on sunlit evenings.
Please note, due to the internal layout of this cottage, in the event of a fire, guests must be physically capable of exiting the building via a ground floor window should the primary escape routes be blocked or impassable.

May 7, 2025Perfect 80th birthday venue - West Woolley Farm proved to be the perfect choice for my 80th birthday weekend with my wife and our extended family totalling ten (eleven including including Baby Robin, who loved... read more having Richard and Christina help him feed the animals!). We felt completely ‘at home’ thanks to the warm welcome, and the beautifully appointed, equipped, and comfortable accommodations. It was a truly delightful experience from beginning to end. The surrounding area is thankfully quieter than many parts of Cornwall but as spectacular as any. There are cliff walks, sandy beaches, ancient churches, and the Bush Inn! All this, and the sun shone throughout. What more could one possibly ask? Thank you so much R and C! Please may we come again?!

November 20, 2024Wonderful Woolley - We are so glad we chose to stay at West Woolley Farm. Our children had a brilliant time and we were made to feel welcome from start to finish. We... read more stayed in Anna’s Cottage which was incredibly peaceful and had everything you needed for an excellent break. We appreciated the extra thoughtful touches of blinds and curtains to make the bedrooms really dark as well as extremely comfortable beds and “normal people” sized towels! Cottage is well situated for exploring the local area and we spent our days enjoying the beautiful beaches locally (even with the patchy weather). The highlight for us as a family was definitely the animal feeding which kept both our children (aged 11 and 5) happy for an hour each morning. This isn’t just any animal feeding though - this is proper hands on and Richard and Christina involved all the children, learning all of their names and made sure everyone got a turn to do everything as the week went on. The children have told everyone about Chilli the pig and have been asking when we can go back since the moment we left. We will definitely be back!
