Wherever you go, you’re never far from pretty fishing villages and historic towns.
Discover the legend of King Arthur at Tintagel’s castle or tuck into Rick Stein’s fish and chips by the harbour at Padstow. Explore the medieval village of Boscastle (owned by the National Trust) and stroll Clovelly’s famously steep cobbled streets. Or wander the colourful lanes of Appledore and even take the ferry across the estuary to Instow.
In places such as Bideford, Barnstaple and Holsworthy, you’ll find colourful markets where you can pick up great local produce.
And, of course, don’t forget to visit the pretty seaside town of Bude with its streets of independent shops and cafes, beautiful beaches, famous sea pool, beach huts and relaxing walks by the canal.
