Over the past few days we’ve understandably had a few questions about our response to Coronavirus COVID-19.
Currently, only a handful of cases have been confirmed in Cornwall. There are no restrictions affecting our cottages and hopefully our guests will be able to enjoy their holidays with us.
However, we recognise the situation is changing day by day and we’re therefore taking the following precautions to help keep our guests as safe as we can:
• If any guest should experience early symptoms of COVID-19 (such as high temperature and a continuous cough) directly before their holiday with us, then we strongly request they follow the advice of Public Health England and the NHS to stay at home and self-isolate for at least seven days and contact us directly to discuss cancellation or postponement.
• Our excellent cleaning team will clean your cottage thoroughly before your arrival. We’ve also asked them to pay particular attention to high contact areas such as door handles, light switches, grab handles, TV remotes, kettles, kitchen surfaces, toilets etc.
• As always, we encourage our guests to wash their hands regularly after being out on the farm. We’re providing additional hand wash for each cottage and will continue to provide cleaning materials to wipe down surfaces. The children’s toys in the play barn will also be cleaned daily, or more frequently, as required.
Naturally, we’re following events closely and will review what else we can do as new information becomes available.
