“The cottages are really nice and very well equipped. Every little detail thought of. The owners are very friendly and knowledgeable of the local area. Our little grandson particularly enjoyed rounding up the ducks and feeding all the animals. Some lovely beaches to visit within 15 minutes and stunning countryside to walk in. We will definitely return – 4 days wasn’t long enough”

“We can think of no better base to experience fantastic countryside, coast, villages and pubs. Ideal for walkers through to families, make sure you do not miss out. The accommodation is fantastic, immaculately presented in every respect including the Cornish Cream Tea on arrival! John and Helen are great hosts although not as cute as the pygmy goats!”

“… beautifully equipped and perfectly situated for some amazing days out. The layout lends itself perfectly to share and have private space. Thank you to Helen and John for making us feel so welcome. Wetsuits were a bonus for the body boarding.”

“A fantastic location, wonderful accommodation and hosts who can’t do enough for you, means we’ll be planning a return trip to West Woolley very soon.”

“We recently stayed at West Woolley Farm and it could not have been better. The welcome we received, the quality and cleanliness of the cottage, the facilities and the information provided to us about the local area – second to none! The biggest joy was the opportunity for our 3 year old daughter to feed the animals with “Farmer John” in the mornings! The excitement for her each morning was amazing! Thank you for a brilliant holiday!”

“…..a perfect base to stay to explore the North Cornwall and Devon coast. The beaches in the area are beautiful as well as the countryside.  The most enjoyable part of the holiday (for the children and us!) was the animal feeding in the morning….. John is wonderful with the children, making it a fun thing for them to join in with and is very fair giving turns to all the children to feed…… We will be going back to West Woolley (we have already booked) and would recommend it to others – especially those with children.”

“We spent half term in the converted Grain Store, it was a beautiful cottage & very cosy.
We didn’t get up early enough to feed the animals but Helen let us see the goats later in the morning. The games barn was fun for all the family. John & Helen were so lovely & nothing was too much trouble. The location is fab for exploring Devon & Cornwall. I would definitely recommend staying at these beautiful cottages.”
