Richard and Christina are the most gracious hosts with nothing being too much trouble. The comfort and cleanliness of the accommodation is exceptional, and the attention to detail is exacting. The love and care that they show to the animals is clear and it is demonstrated in their enthusiasm in getting guest involvement in daily feeding and interaction.

West Woolly Farm is well placed for exploring the surrounding areas including some stunning beaches, walks and tea shops. It is only 20 minutes from Bude town where there is lots to do in all weathers.

We are sure we will be back!

Great xmas break  - We loved our stay at West Woolley Farm. The weather was awful but that didnt stop us meeting the lovely animals on site during feeding time and popping into... read more see them during other times. Richard and Christina clearly love the animals and it was a delight to be able to feed them. The accommodation was lovely and we had everything we needed for our little xmas break. We braved the weather on xmas day to go into bude and see the sea swim - we could not believe how many people took part.

Second visit to an idyllic farm stay  - Our second long weekend visit to West Woolley Farm staying again in Anna's Cottage and we had a fantastic time.
The cottage was immaculate and very comfortable.

Richard and Christina are so good with the children, gently encouraging them to feed and help with the animals.
The play barn was really handy on the days the weather wasn't great
We found lots to do in the local area around Bude.

Wonderful Woolley  - We are so glad we chose to stay at West Woolley Farm. Our children had a brilliant time and we were made to feel welcome from start to finish. We... read more stayed in Anna’s Cottage which was incredibly peaceful and had everything you needed for an excellent break. We appreciated the extra thoughtful touches of blinds and curtains to make the bedrooms really dark as well as extremely comfortable beds and “normal people” sized towels! Cottage is well situated for exploring the local area and we spent our days enjoying the beautiful beaches locally (even with the patchy weather). The highlight for us as a family was definitely the animal feeding which kept both our children (aged 11 and 5) happy for an hour each morning. This isn’t just any animal feeding though - this is proper hands on and Richard and Christina involved all the children, learning all of their names and made sure everyone got a turn to do everything as the week went on. The children have told everyone about Chilli the pig and have been asking when we can go back since the moment we left. We will definitely be back!
