Absolutely perfect!  - We stayed in Parlour cottage with our 4 year old Grandson. Had a fabulous week. The cottage was perfect and the scones and cream were a welcome treat after a... read more long journey. There was also a pint of milk and teabags and sachets of coffee and sugar.
Everything was high quality and it was great to have ensuites in both bedrooms. The bath in the twin bedroom was big and great for a long soak. The shower in the double bedroom was powerful, plenty of hot water.
Richard and Christina are the perfect hosts. We met them every morning at 8.30am to feed the animals and our Grandson loved it. Richard and Christina were so kind and gentle with him. He also enjoyed the array of tractors and bikes in the barn and we enjoyed the table tennis.
There's a laundry room with washer and tumble dryer. We also borrowed a couple of wetsuits so that was really useful.
The cottage is in an excellent location. It's so peaceful yet not far from pubs/supermarket. We are already planning to return. Highly recommend.

The children loved the daily feeding, and it was great to... read more see Chilli, Ruby, Rose and the other animals still going strong. We spent most of our sunny week on Bude beach, loving the rock pools, sea pool and body boarding. Even though the sea was rough it was well patrolled by the lifeguards and we made good use of the body boards, wet suits and wind break which was available from WWF. We also recommend the giant slip and slide in Bude. We love WWF - it almost feels like a second home when we are there. Anna’s Cottage was spotless, comfortable and had all the things needed to make the stay perfect. We hope to be back for stay number 6!

Richard and Christina are the most gracious hosts with nothing being too much trouble. The comfort and cleanliness of the accommodation is exceptional, and the attention to detail is exacting. The love and care that they show to the animals is clear and it is demonstrated in their enthusiasm in getting guest involvement in daily feeding and interaction.

West Woolly Farm is well placed for exploring the surrounding areas including some stunning beaches, walks and tea shops. It is only 20 minutes from Bude town where there is lots to do in all weathers.

We are sure we will be back!

Perfect 80th birthday venue  - West Woolley Farm proved to be the perfect choice for my 80th birthday weekend with my wife and our extended family totalling ten (eleven including including Baby Robin, who loved... read more having Richard and Christina help him feed the animals!). We felt completely ‘at home’ thanks to the warm welcome, and the beautifully appointed, equipped, and comfortable accommodations. It was a truly delightful experience from beginning to end. The surrounding area is thankfully quieter than many parts of Cornwall but as spectacular as any. There are cliff walks, sandy beaches, ancient churches, and the Bush Inn! All this, and the sun shone throughout. What more could one possibly ask? Thank you so much R and C! Please may we come again?!
